Master of Your Own Puppet

How the world can seem like a big disaster,
Like a rope that tightens faster and faster,
But the mind is often deceiving us all,
With all the things interlaced throughout its halls,

But there is a secret that is often missed,
You are the master of the minds great abyss,
If you do not like something, simply toss it out,
Replace it with something good and let it sprout,

Some things have been deeply rooted in the mind,
The only cure is a stretched amount of time,
But there again, you pull all of the vital strings,
A master in control of your suffering,

A case of great ease the path is often not,
The mind often feels like a primordial broth,
When all your dreams seem damned and forever lost,
You must find a source of strength at every cross,

Do I write an impossible lost riddle?
A feat that cannot be achieved by mere man,
If this is so, many of a life has been lost,
I am not the first or the last to write this,

It is wonderful to chase your very own dream,
Never to give up, no matter what the future brings,
To hold firmly, to stand on your very own ground,
The beautiful music on the horizon,
Victory the trumpets sound,
Simple, yes; unimportant, no! It just felt right. What do you think? :o (Eek)

You know, I am constantly amazed by your ability to see the root of matters beyond the comprehension of most. As always, you strike a very important point, but the sad thing is... when something is bad, and *should* be tossed out, we like it too much to part with it. Such is the nature of man, eh?
Nice work, as usual.
